Find time for you, no matter how busy the daily routine.

Find a quiet place, where you will not be distracted by external noises - it may be as near as the shade of your favourite tree, or a warm bath tub.

Place yourself in a comfortable position and attempt to let all thoughts leave your mind, either by humming a single sound -hmmm or by concentrating on your breathing -slowing inhaling deeply from a slightly opened mouth and just as slowly exhaling through the nostrils.

As you repeat the cycle imagine breathing in goodness and exhaling the bad air within your body. Then you will start to notice that your body is beginning to relax from the extremities of your hand and feet and further into your body core.

Start off for a short period - 2-3 minutes and gradually find the time and a place to extend your self-indulgence.
Does  this mean doing Yoga?
The short answer is Yes and No.

There are many types of yoga. The breathing routine above can be part of Hatha Yoga. There are many styles of Meditation
that are totally separate from yoga.

                                  peace

Fostering your soul can take on whatever means that suits you. Just focus on bringing peace and tranquility to your body and mind. You may find it just looking at a beautiful work of art or photograph.

Can I foster my soul with another activity?
Any activity that allows both your mind and body to relax is good. For example a walk through the woods may allow your mind to wander as you share the green air that the trees inhabit.

Use care that you are not engaged in an activity for which you should concentrate - letting you mind drift while walking through a dangerous terrain is not a good thing if you miss the edge of the ravine and fall to the rocks below.

Over time you will become more adept at moving into a quiet place in your mind, and you will be able to slip in moments, while waiting for a doctor's appointment, the next bus, or watching the waves roll in at the seashore.
